Maxwell Bohr, Aceno, Trinary: the same company, now with the right name
Whether you knew us as Maxwell Bohr, through Aceno's call button or on a factory floor with ENOL, you knew the same company. In 2026, it takes the name Trinary and separates those who create from those who operate.

Maybe you met us in our first decade, when we developed scientific instrumentation and systems for the aerospace sector, and you remember the name Maxwell Bohr. Maybe it was at a restaurant, with a call button on the table, and to you we are Aceno. Or in a factory, in recent years, through ENOL.
At every one of those moments, it was the same company. This October 3, 2026, it turns 24 and takes the name Trinary. The change happens gradually: for a while, you will still come across the old names.
A company that creates technology
In 2002, in Londrina, Brazil, two brothers — an electrical engineer and a computer scientist — founded a company to bring their fields together and create cutting-edge technology products. Its name, Maxwell Bohr, honored two giants of physics.
In its first decade, the company developed technology on many fronts: aerospace, electronic and scientific instrumentation, advanced optics, environmental monitoring, industrial automation, educational robotics and advanced radio-frequency systems. The first patents came, along with the first innovation-funding projects. What tied it all together was a calling to invent its own technology from scratch.

The first ten years, in the Maxwell Bohr portfolio.
A brand that outgrew the company
From 2014 on, engineering needed scale, and the company decided to take on every role of a complete business. It focused its efforts on its service-call management line, which gained its own brand: Aceno. The call button on the table became No. 1 in Brazil in its category.
Aceno grew so much that it also became the company’s official name. It was proof that we knew not only how to create technology, but how to build an entire business around it. But the name of a product came to hide the company’s true nature: that of a creator of technology.
Back to the frontier
With the commercial model proven, the engineering core looked ahead again. Investment in the internet of things grew the industrial vertical until it gained its own brand and path: ENOL. At the same time, we advanced in autonomous robotics, computer vision and artificial intelligence applied to the physical world, with innovation-funding projects and industrial partnerships.
Why a new name
Over 24 years, the company did two very different things: it created technology and it operated the businesses born from it. A single name came to carry both roles.
The brand restructuring separates those roles. Trinary is the creator: it researches, develops, holds the technology and the intellectual property, and incubates each new business until it is ready for the market. The businesses born from it gain their own brand and, gradually, their own path.
Our brands today

- Trinary — the creator. Brings together electronics, computing and mechanics to conceive, develop and launch its own technology businesses.
- Aceno — our first creation, established: service-call and service-flow management focused on the food-service sector, national leader in its category.
- ENOL — in consolidation: IoT and process management for industry, with a cloud platform and proprietary wireless devices, and products validated in the field and ready to scale.
- Veriload — in incubation: autonomous robots, computer vision and artificial intelligence that digitize industrial environments and keep their digital twins alive and always up to date.
The name
Trinary comes from the three disciplines we master and fuse: electronics, computing and mechanics. In physics, three bodies interacting through gravity tend toward chaos, but there are rare solutions in which all three move in permanent balance. That is our symbol: three forces in stable orbit, each as essential as the others.

Bridging Atoms and Bits.
What comes next
A business takes years to be born. That is why we dedicate ourselves to one creation at a time, while those already born follow their own path. Aceno is established, ENOL is following the same path, and Veriload is the next generation.
Anyone who knew us at any point in this story knew Trinary. Now it has the right name.
